In this Seminar i will show you - both in theory and on the field- my way of training working dogs. From Puppy to IPO 3.

I will show you hands on simple routines to playfully stir your dog into certain behaviour patterns. Using its natural instincts we will lead the dog into the exercises Heel, sit, down, etc. emphasising on a positiv and joyful relation between the dog and its handler.

Another big part of this seminar is the retrieve

The retrieve is one of THE most important component of obedience . 40'out of 100 points can be made or lost during this exercise. And there are plenty of tricky parts to this seemingly simple routine.

In my seminar I will show you a logic and proven way to teach ! Retrieving from a-z in way that is understood by the dog using both drive and obedience.

Furthermore i will show different ways to correct aleeady existing problems and offer new food for thought on modern up to day training concepts.

In this workshop i will show you my modern approach to all three Parts ( tracking, obedience and protection) of The IPO sport.

I offer valuable tips and will tackle the individual Problems of the participating teams.

This intensive seminar is for up to 10 handlers with dog and unlimited participants without dogs.

It is also possible to train up to two helper during this seminar.

This seminar can be either in a privat surrounding or a dog club. It ist targeted to any IPO lover...beginner to pro.

Management of the three pillars of drive : Prey, Aggression and obedience in Harmony on the basis of calmness and an even temper

We love the drive and energy of our working dogs.

We foster those drives and enjoy the fullfillment our dogs find in that. We use the pillars in all aspects of our training and try to integrate the different drives into each exercise. Often people build a single pillar to high in the beginning - blocking another pillar. e.g. We push the prey drive to had blocking obedience . Therefore the dog seems uncooperative. Or the prey drive is too dominat and blocks barking (agression)

 

In my new Seminar "Management of the 3 Pillars of Drive" I will show how to build those three pillars ( agression, Prey and obedience) on the fundement of calmness and harmony. I will show a step by step system to train your dog in protection in a way to build those pillars symetric using a marker ( such as a clicker or a"yes") how to switsch between drives without one drive hindering another. In this seminar I will teach you exactly how to teach those pillars of drive and how to recall them. We do not need a helper or assistant to do so. You will become your own helper and most importantly your dogs teacher. You will learn to understand and giude your dogs different drives. Anyone can learn this and will be able to control the different drives on point. Every Pillar ( Agression, Prey, Obedience) will become self rewarding eg prey....the bite is the reward agression...the bark is reward ,,,,obedience...heeling will be awarding for the dog.

In addition you will learn how to build the basis for a calm and well balanced dog, Only if you can stop your dog with a signal in any situation you have true control. Therefore calmness and an even temper are the first things we teach our dog before we work on all other drives. Using this system you will be able to reach maximum levels of ALL drives using modern day dog training systems using the dogs natural drives. The seminar covers the fundemenatl principles of my work ( training the young dog, retrieve, three pillar principle) in theory plus some hand on work with a few dogs.
